The Practice of Staying
Discover how slowing down, connecting with nature, and turning inward can help you build the capacity to stay with difficult emotions

What To Expect
You will have the incredible opportunity to meet with Sadie and Hailey - two highly experienced practitioners of practicing staying. Everybody has a unique story to share, and we would love to hear how understanding the importance of slowing down will improve your every day life on a beautiful ranch in Larkspur, Colorado.
The class will begin with a body scan. The first step in slowing down is to eliminate the mindset of the fast-paced society we live in today. By understanding how your body feels in the moment is a skill everyone should understand and practice.
Together through various workshops we will learn to listen and understand our body's needs and look for signs we often ignore or underestimate every day. Learning how to find comfort in discomfort can often times feel exhausting or nerve-wracking, the confidence found throughout these workshops will assist in learning what your body is telling you and how to feel comfort in discomfort.
At Bella Terra Farms, we learn that animals will often times relate with human emotions and can feel a sense of connection with us while we workshop various activities. The beautiful ranch is home to dozens of different animals, all of which will help accomplish our goal of experiencing The Practice of Staying.
